Privacy policy

The short version
Shotona renders your product videos in your browser, on your device. Your 3D models, exported videos, and stills never touch our servers unless you choose to save a project to the cloud. We collect the minimum needed to run accounts and billing, we use no analytics trackers or advertising, and we never sell data.
What we store
- Account. Shotona creates an anonymous account in your browser so your work can be saved. If you sign in, we store your email address (or, with Google sign-in, your Google account email and name) to identify your account across devices.
- Saved projects. If you save a project to the cloud, we store its settings and the files you attached (your 3D model and music track) so you can open them elsewhere. Deleting a project deletes its files.
- Billing. If you subscribe, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we store only your subscription plan, its status, and Stripe's identifiers for your subscription.
- Waitlist and support email. If you join the waitlist or email us, we keep that correspondence.
What stays on your device
Models you drag into the editor, previews, and every export (MP4, PNG, stills) are processed locally by your browser. They are not uploaded, inspected, or retained by us unless you save a project. Interface preferences are kept in your browser's local storage, along with the session token that keeps you signed in — the only "cookie-like" data we use.
Services we rely on
- Supabase — hosts accounts, saved projects, and subscription records.
- Stripe — processes payments and stores payment details.
- Resend — delivers sign-in and account emails.
- Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in.
Each processes data only to provide its service to us. We use no analytics or ad trackers.
Deleting your data
You can delete any saved project from the editor at any time. To delete your account and everything attached to it, email hello@shotona.com from the account's address and we'll remove it. Stripe retains transaction records as required by financial regulations.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here with a new date. Questions: hello@shotona.com.
